How it works

On the water in minutes.

Scan.

Point your phone camera at the code on a bay and rent in your browser, with no app to download. The first time, you also add your mobile number, sign the waiver, go through a short safety briefing and add a card, which takes a few minutes.

Paddle.

Put on your life jacket and go. No reservations, no desk.

Dock.

Back at your bay, hang the paddle in first, then push the board in until it clicks. That locks them and ends your rental, with no phone needed.

Boards stand in a rack at the water's edge, each in its own locked bay with its paddle and life jacket. You unlock with your phone and return without it.

  3. Life jacket on every boardEach board carries its own life jacket, strapped to the deck.

Before you paddle.

How much does it cost?

You pay an unlock fee plus a rate per minute, and an hour never costs more than a set cap. While you're out, we hold an amount on your card. When you dock, we charge your rental and release the rest. We'll post the prices before the first station opens.

Do I need experience?

No. Paddleboarding on calm water is easy to pick up, and you can start on your knees until you find your balance.

What do I need to bring?

A phone with data that can get texts (your sign-in code comes by text) and a payment card. The board, paddle and life jacket are at the bay.

Can I rent for friends?

Each paddler rents with their own phone, one board each. Friends can scan bays side by side.

Who can rent, and do I have to wear the life jacket?

You must be 18 or older to rent. Everyone wears a life jacket on the water.

How do I return a board?

Go back to the bay you took it from. Hang the paddle in first, then push the board in until it clicks. The station locks both and ends your rental, with no phone needed. Lost the paddle? At the bay, tap Lost your paddle on the rental page, then push the board in on its own. It locks, your rental ends and a lost-paddle fee is added.

Can I return it to a different bay or station?

No. Your board goes back to the bay it came from, and that bay stays empty for you while you're out. If something is in the way, tap Help on the rental page.

Where is the first station?

We'll tell the waitlist first, before we announce it anywhere else.
